Things to inform your students of
when you start working on Web pages. (From K12
The goal of the “State of
By establishing safe web
space, we feel we are helping our students prepare for the future.
Notice: Please note that we are very
cautious about allowing students access to this system. There is a certain
amount of trust we need to put in the clients (i.e. Adult Teachers, now
students) that utilize our system. We just want you to be aware of this and
please use caution with these accounts. Obviously, any malicious activity will
not be tolerated, and could result in your loss of connection to the DDN. (Be
sure you read your own school's AUP, the State MOU and other DDN documents)
I guess what we are
saying is that the responsibility resides with the school that the students
will act in a proper manner and not try any type of hacking or malicious
activity when editing web pages on the State K-12 servers.
